SEC Bball Tourney Starts Today

The SEC Tournament starts Thursday afternoon with a big game between Georgia and Auburn at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Bulldogs need this win to keep their hopes of an NCAA Tournament at-large berth alive. Not a packed house yet, but plenty of Georgia fans and students here who made the 60-mile trip from the Athens, Ga. campus. Wow, 60 miles must be real difficult for these kids.  Florida fans make it out everywhere.  Georgia beat Auburn in overtime in the first meeting between the two schools, so this is no gimme for the Dogs.  Getcha popcorn ready.

  2. Guess they figured something out! A nice 69-51 asskicking. Good to see a sports blog, love it. I'm a Wisconsin fan hoping to see some quality wins to lock up something nice like a 3 seed, the committee always seems to bone us so some quality tourney wins would be nice. Hopefully the SEC can rep the tourney well.
